The ISBIS Conference 2022 on “Statistics and Data Science in Business and Industry” will take place at University of Napoli Federico II in Naples on 20-21 June 2022. 

The Program and Organizing Committees hope to offer the opportunity to meet in person to share perspectives on the newest developments and challenges in statistical methods and applications in business or industrial contexts. Among the different directions our engagements will take us, we anticipate discussions around the importance of Data Science as the new evolutionary frontier that is accelerating Big Data and Advanced Analytics.

The conference will include a scientific collaboration from the Italian Statistical Society (ISS), the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS), and the Statistics and Data Science Group (SDS) of the Italian Statistical Society. All of our partners will actively participate in the planning of the conference as well as organization of sessions on selected topics, extending the list of the areas of interest.

In case the pandemic situation gets worse, we will guarantee the conference switching to either hybrid or virtual mode.

Special Issue Publication

Authors will have opportunity to submit a full paper based on conference presentation to a special issue of the Wiley/ISBIS Journal, Applied Stochastic Models in Business in Industry.
