2023 BioInference Conference

The 2nd BioInference conference will take place on 8 and 9 June 2023 at the Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Oxford, UK.

Launched in 2022, BioInference aims to bring together researchers from across statistics and mathematical modelling who work with biological systems, and from all career stages, to foster discussions between the two communities and to prompt collaborations. The talks from the 1st BioInference conference are available via our public YouTube channel (shorturl.at/ekmqT).

The conference will combine contributed talks and poster sessions. We invite abstracts for oral / poster presentations on work either relating to statistical methods development (so long as those methods are applicable to biological systems) or on the application of statistical methods to solve biological problems. We are especially interested in presentations on biological problems where an inference solution has yet to be found (i.e. unsolved inference problems). Abstracts can be submitted via a Google form (shorturl.at/dfo68) and the deadline is midday on 16 March 2023.

The conference organising committee is committed to ensuring fair participation of individuals across all career stages, genders, races and ethnicities, ages, geographic locations, and universities.
