Environmetrics Special Issue on Climate and Sustainable Energy Econometrics and Statistics

Environmetrics has just published a Special Issue on Climate and Sustainable Energy Econometrics and Statistics, guest edited by Jennifer L. Castle (University of Oxford), J. Isaac (Zack) Miller (University of Missouri), Claudio Morana (University of Milano-Bicocca) and Tommaso Proietti (University of Rome – Tor Vergata).

This special issue on Climate and Sustainable Energy Econometrics and Statistics brings together academic contributions, many of which were presented at the 4th Italian Workshop of Econometrics and Empirical Economics (IWEEE2024), themed “Climate and Energy Econometrics,” organized by the Italian Econometric Association (SIdE) in collaboration with the Rimini Center for Economic Analysis (RCEA) and hosted at the University of Bolzano on January 25-26, 2024. The workshop specifically sought contributions from academics and policy researchers to advance the econometric and statistical foundations of climate science, environmental economics, and energy policy—fostering rigorous academic insight while supporting evidence-based decision-making for policymakers navigating the complexities of climate mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development.
