Presenting Data: Understanding the User by RSS Treasurer Ed Swires-Hennessy

Ed Swires-Hennessy was a member of the Government Statistical Service (GSS) of the United Kingdom for almost 40 years. He was also a consultant to the Project Board of the National Statistics website and served on the Council of the Royal Statistical Society from June 2001 to December 2007. He was awarded the West Medal by the Society in 2003 for his contribution to dissemination, teaching – locally, nationally and internationally – and his Internet work. Though he has left the Society’s Council, he is still a Director of the trading arm of the Society with special responsibilities for the operation of the Professional Development Centre.

Mr Swires-Hennessy is writing a book for Wiley on presenting data and dedicated tutorial videos will accompany the publication of his book next year. He recently visited the Wiley office to give his talk on Presenting Data, which is available here in separate videos which will gradually be uploaded within the next month.
