The BBC has announced that Nate Silver will have a guest spot on this Monday's Panorama where he will use his renowned skills to forecast the outcome of the General Election.

Broadcaster Richard Bacon will take Silver on a road trip around the UK, meeting voters of all backgrounds, from the moors of Devon to the seaside of Skegness. Ten days before polling day, can the man who successfully predicted the outcome of the US Presidential Election tell us which way the votes will swing?

Statistics Views will follow up on what Silver predicts. Will we see him using Bayesian analysis in action?

We interviewed Silver at JSM 2013 and we all know he likes a challenge! Panorama will air on BBC One at 8.30pm. Viewers from outside the UK will be able to catch up on BBC iPlayer (instructions available here).
