The app is available here which gives you all the details you need to know about the conference from the program, speaker bios, special events to how to find your way around, as well as links to Wiley and INFORMS journals.

How to Access

Download the app at www.informsanalytics2013.org and follow instructions on the opening screen. You will need Internet access to download and to update. However, once the app has been loaded on your device, you can access most of its features even when you don’t have an Internet connection (except for links to websites). If your device prompts you to connect to the Internet when opening the app and no connection is available, you can safely ignore it and continue to use the app. When you have wireless access again, the app will update automatically.

How to Use

• Build your personal daily schedule – Plan your day by selecting talks from the program schedule. You can also add custom personal events such as appointments with colleagues and exhibitors. You’ll find complete information about tracks and presentations (including abstracts) and conference speakers (with bios and photos).

• Engage and network – You’ll find a listing of all conference registrants, including individuals’ position titles and companies. You can edit your own profile or add information, such as your email address, to facilitate networking. The app also has quick links to conversations about the conference on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and others.

• Find what you’re looking for fast – Use the search capability and interactive maps to find sessions and exhibitors more easily.

• Take notes – Take notes about sessions, speakers and exhibitors. At the end of the event, you can easily export all notes via email.

• Access must-have research – You can quickly browse key Wiley publications, and find details of how to receive FREE trial access to Wiley journals including Statistical Analysis and Data Mining and Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry.
