2013 Ars Conjectandi Lecture

2013 marks the 300th anniversary of the publication of Jacob Bernoulli’s book, Ars Conjectandi, in 1713.

The IMS and the Bernoulli Society are jointly sponsoring the Ars Conjectandi lecture at next year’s Joint Statistical Meetings in Montreal, Canada taking place between 3 and 8 August. The speaker will be David Spiegelhalter, who is Winton Professor of the Public Understanding of Risk at the Statistical Laboratory, University of Cambridge, UK.
