A special issue of the Canadian Journal of Statistics on Stochastic Models, Statistics and Finance has just been published.

The five papers contained in this issue cover a broad range of research that showcases innovations in probability, statistics and stochastic modelling that are motivated by financial problems and are addressed using various statistical and probabilistic methodologies. In addition to theoretical and methodological results, the papers include various simulation studies and applications to real data.
