The venue for the 2016 International Conference of the Royal Statistical Society has been confirmed as the University of Manchester. The conference dates will be 5-8 September.

Richard Emsley from the Institute of Population Health at the University of Manchester has been appointed as Programme Chair for the RSS 2016 Conference.

The RSS Conference Board is now seeking initial proposals for invited sessions, workshops and seminars for inclusion on the conference programme.

The Conference will be fully streamed in 2016 with a number of streams running throughout the three days of the conference and several reflecting the themes of the European City of Science which is hosted by Manchester in 2016.

Outline proposals should contain a provisional title for the session and a brief description of what the session is intended to cover. Proposals must be submitted to the conference office no later than 15 July 2015.
