This colloquium is organized by ENSAI and the French Society for Statistics (SFdS).

The purpose of this conference is to review the state of practice and research in the various fields of survey methodology. It will bring together researchers and practitioners from public and private institutions that produce or use surveys. The topics are varied, and can be found in applications such as political and social sciences, marketing, health and life sciences.

This event is in line with the previous six French Colloquium on surveys organized by the SFdS since 1997. At the initiative of the group "Investigations, Models and Applications", SFdS held its first conference on this topic in Rennes, June 1997. The success of this scientific event led to another meeting in 2000 in Brussels and Lille, then Autrans in 2002, Quebec in 2005, in Marseille in 2007 and Tangier in 2010.
