Andrea Ahlemeyer-Stubbe, Past President of the European Network of Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS), will be leading a one day workshop on Data Mining for Practitioners, to be held at the Royal Statistical Society in London on 29th October, 2012. Topics covered will include how data mining differs from other analytical methods, data mining process, using data mining to to predict buying probabilities and to optimise cross-selling.

The course is for anyone interested in learning more about data mining, including those who work in industry and retail, who need to make decisions based on the analysis of business trends.
