The third ADISTA international workshop on advances in directional statistics will be held from 17 to 19 June 2019 at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

The ADISTA workshops aim to stimulate research in the field of directional statistics by bringing together researchers to share their latest results, identify new problems and applications, and foster dialogue and future collaborations. The 2020 event will be held in celebration of Professor Kanti Mardia's 85th birthday and in recognition of his contributions to the statistics community through conferences, with the Kanti Mardia ADISTA20 Prize to be awarded to the best poster presented by a PhD Student.
