Developing Statistics: Peter Diggle at 70


To celebrate Peter Diggle's 70th birthday, a special conference on Developing Statistics will be held from 15 to 17 April 2020 at Lancaster University in Lancaster, UK. 

The conference will explore the fields that Peter has worked in over his career, including spatial, longitudinal, and spatio-temporal statistics, with applications in biostatistics, epidemiology, and clinical sciences, as well as his more recent work in education and capacity building in low income countries. There will also be discussions on the future of statistics and data science and their role in development.
