Call for Papers: ASMBI Special Issue on Frontiers of Statistical Computing and Data Science in the Artificial Intelligence Era

Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI) invites submission of papers to the special issue titled Frontiers of Statistical Computing and Data Science in the Artificial Intelligence Era. The theme focuses on the integration of statistical methodologies with AI technologies. It emphasizes the role of statistical computing in powering data-driven decision-making and developing AI applications across fields like healthcare, finance, and climate change. The Special Issue invites the submission of papers presenting new methods/algorithms and/or interesting applications of existing methods relevant to business and industry. The Call is open to the entire scientific community, with particular emphasis on papers presented at the IX Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing (LACSC) held from November 3 to 7, 2025, in Valparaíso, Chile.

All submissions will go through the standard and selective review process of ASMBI. Submissions are possible until April 30, 2026, through the site https://wiley.atyponrex.com/journal/ASMB. Please follow the ASMBI author submission guidelines given on the ASMBI website and click on the box about submissions for special issues, selecting “LACSC2025” when prompted.
