ASMBI: Call for Papers for ENBIS 2022 Spring Meeting on Degradation and Maintenance, Modelling and Analysis Special Issue

We are happy to announce a Special Issue of Applied Stochastic Models in Business
and Industry (ASMBI), the official journal of ISBIS (International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics), dedicated to the topical areas featured in the ENBIS 2022 Spring Meeting on Degradation and Maintenance, Modelling and Analysis.

In the field of reliability studies, the multiplication of equipment control and monitoring
systems implies that degradation models become more and more prominent over lifetime models. The modelling of degradation processes, the statistical analysis of the corresponding data and their use for the predictive maintenance of industrial systems are important and challenging issues.

The aim of this Special Issue is to attract high-quality, innovative, and original works related but not restricted to the above mentioned research fields relevant to degradation and maintenance, modelling and analysis:

• Stochastic degradation processes.
• Statistical analysis of degradation data.
• Predictive maintenance.
• Maintenance modelling and optimization.
• Statistical reliability.
• Accelerated degradation tests.
• Prognostic and health management.
• Software development for degradation and maintenance analysis.
• Case studies in reliability analysis.

Submissions are not restricted to papers presented at the ENBIS 2022 spring meeting. All submissions will go through the standard, selective review process of ASMBI. Submissions should be made via the Research Exchange website https://wiley.atyponrex.com/journal/ASMB. The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2022.

Please follow the ASMBI author submission guidelines given on the ASMBI website
and click on the box about submissions for special issues, mentioning “ENBIS 2022” when requested.

The Guest Editors of the special issue will be Inma T. Castro (inmatorres@unex.es) and Laurent Doyen (laurent.doyen@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr). The two guest editors hope that you will find it interesting to contribute to this special issue and are looking forward to your contributions.

For any information about the ASMBI journal, please contact its Editor-in-Chief, Fabrizio Ruggeri (fabrizio@mi.imati.cnr.it).
