We are happy to announce a Special Issue of the journal Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI) on “Financial Modeling, Risk, and Resilience in a Changing World“, dedicated to the topical areas featured in the Statistical Methods in Finance 2025 conference which was held from 18 to 20 December 2025 at the Chennai Mathematical Institute, Chennai, India, with Pre-Conference Workshops on 16 and 17 December 2025; see https://statfin.cmi.ac.in/2025/. The tenth edition of the Conference and Workshop on Statistical Methods in Finance is designed to introduce participants to emerging and vibrant research areas, fostering the formation of active research collaborations. This year, the event focuses on “Financial Modeling, Risk, and Resilience in a Changing World.”
This ASMBI special issue aims at publishing high quality contributions on the conference topics. Articles must present new methodology and/or insightful statistical analysis based on interesting data. Submissions are not restricted to papers presented at the StatFin25 Conference, and anyone is welcome to submit manuscripts that are related to the conference topics.
All submissions will go through the standard, selective review process of ASMBI. The deadline for submissions is 30 April 2026, through the journal website: https://wiley.atyponrex.com/journal/ASMB
