The American Statistical Association has announced that Stephen E. Fienberg, Maurice Falk University Professor of Statistics and Social Science at Carnegie Mellon University has been named as the 22nd Pfizer Colloquium presenter in the Distinguished Statistician series.

The former President of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics presented a colloquium honouring David Salsburg entitled 'Statistics in Service to the Nation,’ (AMSTAT News, 1st February 2013). This colloquium was filmed and those interested in viewing it should contact the ASA’s Continuing Education department.
